Blue star Lee Ryan is to become a dad for the seventh time after he announced wife Verity is pregnant with their fifth child together
All rise! Lee Ryan is to become a dad for the seventh time. The Blue star revealed his wife Verity is pregnant again.
In a sweet post shared on Instagram, the happy couple looked elated to announce their latest addition. The news comes just a year after Lee became a father for the sixth time.
Lee, 43, was seen dancing in the sunshine while wearing a black hat. Verity then showed off her sonogram scan of their unborn tot as she beamed at the camera.
The duo were then joined by the rest of their clan after sharing a kiss. Lee played Five’s Everybody Get Up tune for the video, referring to the fact it will be Lee and Verity’s fifth child together. He has two children from a previous relationship.
Lee captioned his next upload: “I am blessed by God for the family I have”.
In September last year, Blue’s official TikTok page announced the arrival of Lee’s sixth child. The post showed a clip of proud mum Verity with the new arrival and added the words: “Congratulations to Lee and Verity on the arrival of their beautiful, healthy baby girl. Love Duncan, Antony and Simon.”
Lee and Verity, who works as an Ariana Grande lookalike and is a former X Factor star, got married in secret in 2022. At the time, Lee described Verity as a “beautiful, strong and loving woman”.
As he announced their secret nuptials in Gibraltar, Lee said: “And I’m a lucky man to have such a wonderful mother for my child, and now wife, in her.
“I’ve never been more calm and grounded and I have Verity to thank for that. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been in my life because of the wonderful family life I now have.”
In October 2024, Lee and Verity exchanged vows again in Seville. The second ceremony was attended by friends, family and Lee’s bandmates. Lee gushed about the special day in an interview with OK! magazine at the time.
He said: “The service was a beautiful blend of different religions and spiritual elements, accompanied by a variety of music that moved everyone to tears.
“I made my entrance down the aisle with my newborn son in my arms, both of us dressed in matching tuxedos, to the tune of Time by Hans Zimmer, performed by a string quartet.
“The sight of my wife walking down the aisle to ‘I’m Kissing You’ by Des’ree, sung by a gospel choir, was simply breathtaking. We decided to ban mobile phones during the service to ensure everyone was fully present in the moment, rather than trying to capture it on film or in photos.”.
