Katie Price has revealed she is struggling with a debilitating health condition which she says stemmed from when she broke both her feet on holiday in Turkey
Katie Price has revealed she has been battling with a debilitating health condition as she continues to deal with her split from fourth husband Lee Andrews.
The former glamour model, 48, took to Instagram to reveal she has been diagnosed with sciatica. The condition, according to the NHS, happens “when the sciatic nerve, which runs from your lower back to your feet, is irritated or compressed”.
She explained the issues first came about following her foot injury in 2020. The incident left her with two broken feet while on holiday in Turkey.
Her social media post marks the first time she has discussed the condition. She told her followers: “I know I always say about my foot injury because it really was life changing for me. So I have regular massage, because my hips are always a bit out of shape.
“And in the side where he does my bum, it’s the sciatica which goes down the leg”.
The painful condition comes as Katie continues to navigate her split from Lee. The duo surprised the public when they married in Dubai in January just weeks after meeting.
What followed was a constant stream of speculation, including Lee not being the man he claimed to be. And it’s led to Katie calling things off, saying she can’t deal with any more lies.
Lee currently remains in prison. It is thought he returned to prison in July, having only been released the month before. After vanishing with no trace in May after he didn’t join Katie’ in the UK, it was claimed he had been “kidnapped”.
Katie recently appeared on the Good Morning Britain settee. She admitted to the presenters that she has enough of Lee’s lies. The final straw was said to be Lee’s alleged crypto accounts.
He claimed to have £37m in the currency, but Katie found it just had £2.20 in it. Lee continues to deny these claims.
Katie told the morning show: “He insists there’s 50 million US dollars in there. But first of all, for me, as everyone knows, I’ve never been with a man with money, with me it’s never about going with a man with money. I’m self-made, and I have my own money. And with Lee, it’s never been about money, right?”
She added: “He hasn’t scammed me for money, but I feel he has scammed me, and because he fabricated a person that doesn’t exist. When you see someone who you think is gorgeous, it’s a bonus that he said, “Yeah, I’ve got all this and tha’t because I’ve never been with a guy [who has lots of money].
“So of course, it all sounds attractive, and not only that, I did fall in love with this man. We get on. He’s intelligent. We have fun, but it’s him who keeps going on [saying], ‘I’ve got this and that.'”
Speaking of Lee’s brags, Katie went on: “Before I flew to Dubai, he was showing me that he’s got this big house, and and I’m like, wow. I kept saying to him, it’s all lovely, but I’m getting on with you.
“I don’t care if you’ve got money or not. And I’ve made it clear for nine months, I do not care if you’ve got money or not, I’m falling in love with you.
“But for the whole nine months, it’s been yes, I do crypto. I’ve got this money going in. Then he’s like, I’m gonna send you my wallet so you can see. So he sent me the wallet.”
Katie then claimed that during a holiday for a friend’s birthday, she met a friend does crypto. “He said, ‘Look, he hasn’t got 50 million in it.’ I asked, how much?” She revealed she found out it only had £2.22 in it.
