Brooke found out about her father’s cheating, but it wasn’t just his infidelity that left her heartbroken. What hurt her most was that her father slept with her best friend, Christiane Plante.

Brooke’s relationship with her father didn’t break that day, but her friendship with her best friend ended the moment she found out about her getting intimate with her father. In a 2008 interview, the famous best friend of Hulk Hogan’s daughter, Brooke, Christiane Plante revealed that she was the other woman in Hulk Hogan’s life while he was married to Linda, but their marriage had fallen apart, and only paperwork remained.
Christiane revealed that Hulk Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, and his then-wife, Linda, had realized that their marriage was going to end soon, and that only paperwork was left. So, when Christiane’s affair with Hulk began, Linda had already left him.
However, no one can determine the status of Hulk Hogan’s marriage at the time, as he used to state that he was shocked when his wife filed for divorce. However, talking about Christiane and Brooke’s friendship, it ended, leaving a big scar on the latter’s heart and mind. Christiane claimed that she felt the guilt and pain of sleeping with Brooke’s father and gave her a note in which she confessed it and apologized for her actions. She was quoted as saying:
“Having felt the guilt and pain build up, I gave a note to Brooke apologizing for my actions. I will never be able to fully forgive myself for this. I have lost an amazing friend.”
Brooke wrote about the pain of dealing with the biggest shock of her life in her MySpace blog. While the post has been deleted, it stated that she was dealing with the hardest issues of her life and asked for prayers. A few days later, she shed light on the matter and claimed that her best friend and one of the closest family members had betrayed her. Brooke stated that she could never forget the hurt they had caused her.
For the unversed, Hulk Hogan shared a huge age gap with his daughter’s best friend, Christiane, with whom he slept. As per reports, Christiane was 33 years old, and she had a 21-year age gap with Hulk Hogan. It was revealed that Christiane was an assistant and had shared a close relationship with Brooke.
In an earlier interview, Brooke talked about forgiving people, but when it comes to her late father, Hulk Hogan, it wasn’t easy. She revealed that the major turning point in their relationship came when he slept with her friend, Christiane. While she did forgive him, things changed between them, and she couldn’t find the courage to have the same bond with her father as it was before.
Despite the distance and immense pain Brooke felt, she got the chance to talk to her father, Hulk, before his passing. During their last call, Brooke told him that she loved him, and, as she said, she could be hurt by his actions, but the fact that she loved him could never be erased.
Brooke also talked about her parents’ ugly divorce, which added more to the pain. Earlier, while growing up, she was her father’s biggest support, but after the incident, she emotionally and physically distanced herself from him, and it led to a strained bond with her father.
