Fistfighting Raiders stars bury hatchet with Bourbon Street dinner after big NOLA win

Las Vegas Raiders star quarterback Kirk Cousins has been using food to build and mend relationships with his teammates this season.

Cousins and star defensive end Maxx Crosby nearly came to blows during training camp after Crosby hit Cousins’ throwing arm twice during practice.

This was not the start to the relationship that either were hoping for. But they’ve managed to smooth things out, and even shared a dinner in New Orleans that cemented Crosby’s opinion of his starting quarterback.

“I think Friday, when we got to New Orleans, we sat down at maybe 8 to eat dinner and do our thing. We’re just hanging out. We’re sitting at the tables … we just had a big group chilling, and we end up sitting there for like literally two hours. We were there till like 10 p.m.,” Crosby said on Tuesday’s episode of his “The Rush” podcast, mentioning that he, Cousins and Brock Bowers were among those at the dinner.

“We just sat there for two hours, and we’re just in tears laughing about just the most random s–t ever. That’s what it’s all about. So big shout out to my boy Kirk. Great leader, great teammate and a great player.”

Crosby then spoke about Cousins getting In-N-Out with Raiders rookie quarterback Fernando Mendoza, and praised the relationship that the two quarterbacks have built.

Raiders fans will be glad to hear that these two star players are now back on the same page. In fact, the entire Raiders’ roster has been on the same page through three games this season.
