Irons once again dominated the top spots on September’s list of best-selling clubs at Fairway Jockey, but two manufacturers in particular stood out, producing four of the models in the top five on the list. Srixon’s longtime best-seller, the ZXi5, took over the top spot this month, followed by the better-player model, the ZXi7.
Behind Srixon was Mizuno, with the Pro S-4 and Pro M-15 iron models, and positioned in between was Titleist’s popular T150.

For better ball-strikers, the ZXi7s feature the latest edition of Srixon’s PureFrame technology — basically, a piece of steel forged directly into the body of the iron to dampen vibrations — to offer exceptional feel.
Mizuno Pro S-4
The Mizuno Pro S-4 has been engineered for accomplished golfers seeking the unmistakable feel of a forged iron with greater forgiveness and confidence throughout the set. A redesigned curved muscle concentrates mass lower in the head, while progressive offset, a wider sole and deeper center of gravity promote higher launch, increased stability and improved forgiveness without compromising the precision expected from Mizuno Pro.
Forged from a single billet of 1025E Mild Carbon Steel using Mizuno’s patented Grain Flow Forged HD process, the S-4 delivers the exceptional feel, feedback and workability synonymous with Mizuno’s forged heritage

Launched at the beginning of September, the Pro S-4 is Mizuno’s better-player cavity-back iron. GOLF gear editor Jack Hirsh described the irons as designed for good ballstrikers “who want a single-piece forged feel, but more forgiveness without the additional speed of a larger iron.”
Mizuno Pro M-15 irons
The Mizuno Pro M-13 and M-15, part of the all-new Modern Series. Sitting alongside the existing Signature Series (S-1 and S-3), the Modern Series represents a fresh evolution in forged performance. Engineered for players seeking a bit more speed, forgiveness, and playability, while maintaining the unmistakable Mizuno Pro shaping and feel. The Modern Series debuts with two distinct models, each designed for a specific type of ball striker. The M-13 features tour-preferred proportions and a faster, more consistent flight profile, while the M-15 delivers higher launch and additional forgiveness that blends smoothly through the set. Both retain the craftsmanship and forged heritage that define every Mizuno Pro iron.
