Here’s a look at how the films performed on Day 2 and what the early trends indicate.
Drishyam 3: The Conclusion
Prem Keetanu

Its gross currently stands at approximately Rs 1.01 crore.
The 30 per cent jump on Day 2 is a positive sign compared with its opening, but the film is still operating on a significantly smaller scale than Drishyam 3.
Verity vs Digger

Among the Hollywood releases, Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson’s Verity has emerged ahead of Tom Cruise’s Digger. In India, Verity opened at approximately Rs 1.89 crore and collected around Rs 1.61 crore on Day 2. Its India net collection stands at roughly Rs 3.50 crore, with the gross collection at around Rs 4.03 crore.
Verity has performed considerably better in the international market. The psychological thriller is estimated to have opened to around $15 million worldwide on Friday.

Tom Cruise’s Digger has had a much slower start, both in India and internationally. The film opened at approximately Rs 65 lakh in India and collected around Rs 45 lakh on Day 2, taking its India net collection to roughly Rs 1.10 crore and its India gross to around Rs 1.30 crore.
Current estimates suggest that the Tom Cruise-starrer is headed for an opening weekend of around $8 million in North America, which would make it his lowest opening weekend in 19 years for the actor. The last Tom Cruise film to open below $10 million in the market was 2007’s Lions for Lambs. Digger has also earned around $4 million from overseas markets.
With Sunday’s numbers still to come, the weekend numbers will offer a clearer picture of which films can sustain their initial momentum.
