Ahmedabad was the first India date Diljit announced for the Aura World Tour. During his concert at London’s Wembley Stadium on September 12, he revealed that he would perform at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on November 21. While announcing the show, Diljit pointed out that the stadium had previously hosted Coldplay’s sold-out concert and said he wanted a Punjabi artist to perform there as well.
The India leg comes after a busy international run for Diljit. His Aura World Tour began with shows in Australia in 2025 before moving to North America in 2026. The North American leg included performances at venues such as Madison Square Garden, Rogers Centre and Chase Centre.
More recently, Diljit made history as the first Punjabi artist to headline Wembley Stadium on September 12. The sold-out show was part of his ongoing Aura World Tour and featured performances of some of his biggest hits, including G.O.A.T., Lover, Hass Hass and Born to Shine.
The upcoming India tour will mark Diljit’s return to the country after his hugely successful Dil-Luminati India Tour in 2024. Originally announced as a 10-city tour, the India leg ultimately expanded to 14 performances across 13 cities.
Diljit has continued to expand his global presence since the Dil-Luminati tour, balancing music with his acting career.
