Two Big Brother stars have revealed that they have welcomed a son together just a year after meeting on the ITV show, as their co-stars flood them with support
A year on from meeting on Big Brother, two ITV stars have welcomed their first child together. Elsa Rae and Marcus John welcomed their son, Marley, on 2nd October.
Elsa, 22, shared the news with fans via two Instagram posts on 4 October. In one post, she uploaded a picture of her, her baby and Marcus, 23, all sitting in a hospital bed together and smiling at the camera whilst Elsa breast fed her child. Other pictures also showed Marcus grinning in medical scrubs shortly after Marley’s birth, and the two stars kissing. In the caption, Elsa wrote: “Marley Isaac Mark John – Born 02.10.26, our greatest creation [blue heart].”

Just hours later, Elsa posted another series of pictures of her and her son, as well as one in which she and Marcus were getting ready to leave the hospital. She added underneath: “Best day of our lives, hearts so full.”
Marcus shared his own post with an adorable picture of him staring at his baby, covering the child’s face with a heart emoji. He said in the caption that he was “locked in for life”.
In the comments of their joint post, the stars were given messages of congratulations by their fellow Big Brother alumni. Celebrity Big Brother star Jojo Siwa wrote: “Omg!!! Congratulations”. Meanwhile, Zelah Glasson, who was on Elsa and Marcus’ season, said: “Awww guys congratulations and welcome Marley.”
Teja Dalphy added that Elsa was “still serving straight after giving birth”, while Big Brother winner Ali Bromley said “Congratulations”. The pair were also supported by co-stars Sam Ashby, Feyisola Akintoye, Jenny Baird, Emily Hewertson, the official Big Brother Instagram account, and even controversial housemate George Gilbert, who was forced to leave the house early last year.
Elsa and Marcus were both on Big Brother in 2025. Content creator Elsa and engineer Marcus immediately clicked and struck up a romance, going on a first date whilst one of them was locked in a cage in the garden of the house.
At the time, viewers were convinced that the relationship was a ‘showmance’, but the couple proved critics wrong just six months after leaving the house, when they revealed that they were expecting a baby together.
The pair broke the news on Instagram, with a picture of their baby scan. Under the post, they said: “We’ve been keeping a little secret…our bubba due October 2026! We are so very excited.”
They have since also announced that they are engaged to be married. Marcus is said to have gotten down on one knee during a picnic, during which they also learned they were having a son. Elsa showed off her new diamond ring on Instagram, calling it the “most special ring”.
