They are center forwards Dusko Pijetlovic, born April 25, 1985, and Josip Vrlic, born the same day in 1986. Team captain Andrija Prlainovic was born on April 28, 1987.
Besides Prlainovic, one of the most decorated water polo players of all time, two other 2027 Champions League participants will turn 40 next year. Both are center forwards: Luka Loncar of Olympiacos(June 26, 1987) and Lukas Seman of Jadran Split (October 6 1987)
Ioannis Fountoulis (Olympiacos) and Tiberiu Negrean (Steaua) were both born in 1988.
The next oldest players are Gonzalo Echenique (Barceloneta), Ugo Crousillat (Marseille), Milos Cuk (Novi Beograd), Boris Vapenski (Radnicki), and Nicolae Oanța (Steaua), all born in 1990.

They are followed by three players born in 1991: Marko Bijac (Pro Recco), Angelos Vlachopoulos (Radnicki) and Jerko Marinic Kragic (Steaua).
Almost all of these 15 players have won the Champions League, the Euro Cup, or both. The exceptions are Seman, Negrean, Oanta and Marinic Kragic. But, the latter has won several medals representing Croatia.
Pijetlovic and Echenique have won both the Champions League and the Euro Cup.
