Fury Snr John, 61, and the Gypsy King have been at loggerheads after the father of the sport star slammed him son for going back on his promise to leaving the boxing ring for good
It appears that Tyson Fury and his father have finally put down their gloves following an almighty row over his return to the ring.
The pair didn’t speak for months after a bitter family fallout. John Fury made it clear he believes his son is past his best as a boxer, claiming that the punishing trilogy with Deontay Wilder back in 2018 took a severe toll on him. He urged Tyson – who ‘retired’ no fewer than five times – to stick to his word.
Fury Sr, 61, went as far as to say he now has no relationship with the sporting great saying comebacks has “destroyed” their bond. Tyson’s wife Paris Fury despaired at the feud and said it was driven by two “very stubborn” men.
But they seem to have put the past behind them as Tyson uploaded a family snap with the boys by a fire. Even tagging his old man in. The burying of the comes ahead of Tyson’s highly anticipated Battle of Britain fight againt Anthony Joshua in December.

“Here with the lads living the good life, stress free! @netflixuk @gypsyprince @gypsyjohnfury” Tyson posted with a number of his sons chilling as the flames flickered.
Fans were quick to pick up on John sitting alongside him. One told him: “Just happy to see him spending time with his dad.. who loves him to bits. GO ON TYSON! Things you love to see.”
Tyson also uploaded a snap of them on the back of a traditional horse and cart.
Things are better between father and son after John slammed him publicly.
“My relationship with Tyson is destroyed,” he admitted. “Boxing destroyed it completely. I’ll say it on camera: I’ve never taken £10 off him in my life and I never will. I don’t want Tyson’s money and I don’t need Tyson’s money.
‘Whatever he’s got, good luck to him. But don’t forget who built his story when he was a kid. He didn’t build it himself, did he? Me, his father. I’m a no-filter kind of guy – I say it how I see it.
“I love him, but there are too many people patting him on the back and telling him things that aren’t true, building him up like he’s invincible. He’s not, and he hasn’t been for a while.”
Tensions flared as John’s influence in Tyson’s training camp faded, with the boxer choosing to keep his distance when his dad had been a key part of his entourage for years.
Tyson later admitted he felt his dad just wanted the best for him.
“My dad wants the best for his son – he wanted me to retire six years ago after [Deontay] Wilder II. Maybe I should have done, maybe I shouldn’t have done,” he told Sky Sports.
“But at the end of the day, that concern’s coming from a father, someone’s family, someone’s blood.”
The ‘Gypsy King’ and long-time rival Joshua will finally settle their decade-long feud on December 11 in Cardiff. With Fury set for the biggest challenge of his career, one thing is certain: his father will not be present.
In a recent interview with Playbook Boxing, Fury Snr said he will not be travelling to the Welsh capital on December 11. “I’ll be honest with you, no. No I won’t be attending,” he admitted. “Let me tell you, you have more chance of seeing a cow fly than me bothering with it
“I don’t like the people in it, and I know accidents can happen. I’m not involved, so I don’t want to go to the fight. I’ll be doing what his mother does. I’ll wait for somebody to tell me who wins the fight. I don’t need validation to go to a boxing match and sit there and be an absolute spare p**** at the wedding.”
