The National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) presents Traasadi, a Hindi play by Manav Kaul, in collaboration with aRANYA Production. The play begins with the word ‘mother’ and the sense of comfort it carries, before turning to the feeling that follows her absence: regret. As the protagonist lives through this regret, memories of his mother begin to resurface, bringing him closer to her presence once again.

Written, directed and performed by Manav Kaul, the play features lights by Vikrant Thakkar and production by Shiva Sharma. Through a solo performance, Kaul explores the intimate experience of losing a parent and the memories, questions and emotions that remain in the aftermath.

Trigger Warning: The performance includes themes of parental death. Viewer discretion is advised.
