Robert Kelker-Kelly, best known for appearing in the US soap opera Days of Our Lives and also starred in General Hospital and Another World, has died at the age of 62

Robert Kelker-Kelly has died at the age of 62.

The actor was a household name in the United States, having appeared in a string of soap opera roles, including as Bo Brady in the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives in the 1990s. At the time, his character became embroiled in a romance with Billie Reed, who was played by Lisa Rinna in the years before she found further fame as one of the breakout stars of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The news of his death was first reported by TMZ, who reported that the actor died on Saturday but that the cause of death was not yet known.

Following his stint on Days of Our Lives, Robert then appeared as Dr Shane Roberts on Another World before playing Stavros Cassadine on General Hospital in the 2000s.
