She hosts Up & Adams, a daily morning sports show on FanDuel TV, YouTube, and MAX Sports. Kay’s interviews with NFL players often get traction, making her a well-known personality among soccer fans.
Recently, Kay went viral after one such interview; however, this time it’s not due to her content, but her alleged eccentric mannerisms and changed appearance. Netizens also shared her old photos and compared them with her recent look to point out the differences.
Kay Adams’ eccentric behavior in recent interview shocks netizens, her changed appearance sparks plastic surgery buzz
A clip of Kay Adams’ October 2026 interview with former NFL star Rob Gronkowski is going viral on social media. The sportscaster, whose real name is Dorothy Konopka, was seen making many expressions while talking to the former NFL tight end, which netizens found “weird.” The interview focused on Justin Herbert’s team, the Los Angeles Chargers, not using the right tactics for him. However, oddly, Kay smiled and even seemed to smirk at certain points while Rob spoke.
Fans were left confused as to what might have been the reason for Kay Adams’ alleged eccentric behavior. Besides her mannerisms, her alleged changed appearance also came under the spotlight. Many claimed her face looked different from her earlier self and called her “unrecognizable.” “She was much better looking before the surgeries. I think plastic surgery makes people look worse 9/10 times,” an X (formerly Twitter) user wrote.
Another stated, “I never understood attractive women making themselves clowns.” A third wrote, “It’s just sad what these women continue to do to themselves. A fourth echoed similar sentiments and commented, “Their doctors should be sued for malpractice. Really think it’s a mental illness so many attractive women make themselves look awful and unrecognizable.”
Many suggested that Kay Adams might have undergone plastic surgery or non-surgical cosmetic procedures, including lip fillers and Botox. Others alleged that many renowned public figures today are obsessed with looking young and end up looking creepy instead. “These woman’s obsession with not aging is so creepy. They juice their face up with Botox to look like a teenager but then actually make themselves look older anyways. It’s so weird,” an online user wrote.
Kay Adams’ then vs now pics surface amid her alleged unrecognizable look
Amid the backlash over Kay Adams’ alleged ‘new face,’ netizens dug up her old photos. They compared her before-and-after looks and claimed she was a natural beauty before, unlike now. In her old photos, Kay seemed to have a slimmer face with less defined cheekbones. Netizens said her brown hair and lighter eyebrows back then suited her and highlighted her facial features more than her current jet-black hair and brows.
Kay’s smile lines were more prominent in her old pics. Some people felt like it was the effect of Botox. Others claimed her lips look fuller now due to her alleged use of lip fillers. Some online users even shared Kay Adams’ pictures from different stages of her life, claiming she has been gradually altering her looks surgically for years and that her “peak” beauty era was in the 2010s.
Not everyone agreed with the criticism. Some users defended Kay Adams, saying if she got any work done on her face, that’s entirely her personal choice and that she still looks stunning. One user wrote, “She had some filler done and she’s still gorgeous.” Another wrote, “Yea she’s just as beautiful as ever. Stop being haters. Love you Kay.”
