Due to such an insensitive comment, Tanushree came under public scrutiny. A user on X wrote, “Shame on Tanushree Dutta for using this kind of derogatory language for a Veteran actor who has just left for his heavenly abode. Pathetic.” Another user penned, “Shame on this lady. Calling a legendary actor like Nana Patekar’s demise ‘Evil Dead’ shows such a pathetic and vile mindset. No matter what past grudges you have, losing basic human decency at someone’s death is absolutely disgusting. Truly low-class behaviour by Tanushree Dutta.”

Now, in a new video, Tanushree shared that the negativity that she has been experiencing may seem different from what other people have experienced, but for her, it was her real experience. She clarified that she does not want to bring up old issues again.

For those unaware, Tanushree Dutta levied serious accusations against the late Nana Patekar of harassing her on the sets of the film Horn Ok Pleassss. Later, in 2018, she again brought up the incident. Tanushree questioned whether, if someone has troubled people, made them suffer, or done wrong things, their death erases everything they did. She said:

“Kisi ka experience baaki duniya mein alag ho sakta hai. Par mere liye toh woh reality hai. Par jisne logon ko pareshan kiya hai, victimise kiya hai, jo kaand kiye hain, marne ke baad woh kya wipe out ho jaata hai? My life was hell, and it was done by that guy.”
