Elon Musk is currently leading the headlines due to the release of a four-hour documentary about him. Titled Musk, it was directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney. Many of Elon’s exes participated in the project and made explosive revelations about their personal lives. Amid the buzz around Musk, scathing jabs from Elon’s estranged transgender daughter, Vivian Wilson, at him have surfaced. The remarks were largely centered on her gender identity.
Elon Musk’s trans daughter claimed he used sex-selective IVF and treated her like a ‘commodity’
Elon Musk’s trans daughter, Vivian Wilson, has long been estranged from her father, particularly from around the time when she decided to get a gender-alternating surgery. Years later, Vivian publicly slammed her father, claiming that her assigned sex at birth was ‘bought’. Vivian, who was born to Musk and Canadian author Justine Musk, accused her estranged father of sex selection of his child and questioned, “How the f— is this legal.”
Vivian claimed she was treated as nothing less than a “commodity” bought by Elon Musk for a hefty sum. She added that the billionaire was very disappointed to learn that even after spending big bucks to make sure he had a son, the son in question ended up as a trans woman. According to Vivian, she went against the “expectation of masculinity” that Elon had from his “bought” kid. In her words:
“My assigned sex at birth was a commodity that was bought and paid for. So when I was feminine as a child and then turned out to be transgender, I was going against the product that was sold. That expectation of masculinity that I had to rebel against all my life was a monetary transaction. A monetary transaction. A MONETARY TRANSACTION.”
In the documentary Musk, Vivian’s mother claims that the Tesla and SpaceX CEO treated Vivian’s gender transition as the “death of a child” and cut off her health insurance shortly after telling her he would always love her. The author recalled Musk telling her to pass a message to their daughter, saying, “I’ll always love her.” The very next day, he allegedly cut off Vivian’s health insurance.
Justine, who was married to Musk from 2000 to 2008, described Vivian as strong-willed from an early age. The former couple had six children together, but their first son, Nevada, died shortly after birth from Infant Death Syndrome. He was only 10 weeks old in 2002.
Elon Musk was also accused of being a failed father to his son, Romulus
Elon Musk’s 27-years-younger baby mama, Ashley St. Clair accused him of not being a good father to their child. According to Ashley, Elon abandoned their son, Romulus, who was just 5 months old back then. She claimed that he was not present at the baby’s birth in September 2024 and doesn’t even stay in touch with him much. Ashley also said Elon met their little one only thrice.
Ashley also recalled the brief meetings between Elon and their son, claiming they totaled just three and a half hours. She made the comments after she filed a paternity lawsuit against the SpaceX owner. Ashley also claimed that Elon Musk moves through major events without checking whether his child was moving with him or trailing behind.
Elon’s ex referred to footage of him hurrying offstage at the 2025 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) as his then-4-year-old son struggled to keep up. She stated:
“Abandons a 5-month-old. Won’t pay child support for another 3. And leaves the shield behind at a major event…yikes.”
