One of her followers asked Brittany, “How do you deal with all the women trying to get after your husband?” To this, she replied:
“Lol, it’s actually really sad how disrespectful some women are…But they are a waste of my time & not going to disturb my peace.”
Brittany Mahomes confessed that initially she did “have a very hard time” dealing with this. She would “get extremely annoyed” whenever women tried to flirt with Patrick. However, after years of tolerating it, she has finally reached a point where she “could care less” about their attempts.
Later, Brittany answered another similar question where she called out the hordes of negative comments she often comes across targeting her relationship with Patrick. When a user asked why people always say that the NFL star “can do better” than her, Brittany replied, “Cause they are silly.”

The duo started as friends until Patrick mustered the courage to give Brittany a rose for Valentine’s Day. In an interview, the NFL player shared:
“We kinda met in seventh and eighth grade. She was a grade above me; I was kind of the best friend, in the friend zone forever. I used to walk her to class and was trying to flirt. When I was a sophomore in high school, she was a junior. I actually got her a rose… I had a crush on her. But I was getting a rose as a joke for Valentine’s Day.”
Patrick popped the question to his ladylove in September 2020, just a few months after Patrick won the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs and was seen celebrating with Brittany on the field. For the proposal, Patrick had a floral wall with a neon sign that read, “Will You Marry Me?”
