Speaking to PEOPLE, the 44-year-old actress opened up about her 11-year-old son, Silas’ first reaction after seeing her revealing dress in the film. Biel admitted that she felt a little nervous about her children seeing her in that outfit. She thought the dress might feel a bit too revealing or uncomfortable for them to see their mother wearing on screen. She said:
“I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is intense for them to be seeing this dress.’ My son, Silas, was very concerned about the green dress I wore in the movie. He was like, ‘What are you wearing, Mom? Yuck.'”
In the same interview, Jessica Biel mentioned that other than the outfit, her kids seemed to enjoy the film, Matchbox: The Movie. She said that her kids’ reactions were like ‘it was awesome’ and it’s cool’. In another interview with E! Online, Biel added that her 11-year-old son, Silas, made a cameo in the movie. The Blade Trinity actress said that Silas played a small part at the end, and she found it cute.
Further, in the interview, Jessica recalled the time when her kids paid a visit to her on the set of Matchbox: The Movie. She shared that both Silas and Phineas were excited when they visited her on set. The kids also met John Cena, who is the main lead of the film. Recalling the moment, Jessica said:
“They’re so funny. Like I feel like their brains implode whenever they come to set, especially a set like this, where there’s a hero of theirs that they’re meeting. Like my little one, I think he was like, ‘Is this real?’ My 11-year-old is like, I know what this is. But the 6-year-old is still like, ‘What’s happening here?'”
