A man has died after an alleged stabbing in Brisbane’s south.
The 32-year-old was allegedly assaulted just before 4am on Saturday at a property on Barcelona Street in Wishart, according to police.
Paramedics took the man to Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he later died.
Another man has now been charged with murder.
The 32-year-old from Cornubia in Logan was initially charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, but this was upgraded to murder on Sunday after the man died.
He has also been charged with contravening an order to provide access to electronic information.
The man remains in custody and will appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.
Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area or who has footage from nearby was urged to contact police.
