Nikki Worth is also said to be supporting Graeme Hall through his Strictly stint, even helping him by dancing at home – and the pair looked so in love at the BBC studios

Strictly Come Dancing star Graeme Hall put on a very romantic display as he planted a big kiss on his supportive girlfriend’s cheek.

The Glitterball hopeful has been dating NHS worker Nikki Worth for five years, and they were seen looking very loved up on set. Celebrity dog trainer Graeme packed on the PDA and playfulness as the pair smiled together, with Nikki wrapping her arm around the 59-year-old’s shoulder. He previously opened up about the stroke that floored him.

Graeme, partnered with dance pro Lauren Oakley on the famous BBC competition, has been relying on her support as he steps out of his comfort zone. They stood outside the London studios beaming after his solid start to life on the dancefloor. Nicola has clearly had a lot to do with his settling in so well.

It has been reported that she is helping him practise his moves and raises his confidence when he’s had a tough day. Graeme split from accountant Elinor Perry in 2019, and a few years later, he found love again.

“He was introduced to Nikki through friends two years after his marriage ended,” a source said. “It was like someone had turned the spark back on inside him.

“They’ve always chosen to keep their relationship low-key and off social media, but Nikki is Graeme’s everything.

“She is his rock and his biggest support,” they told The Sun. “Starting again as a man in your fifties is never easy, but Graeme took his time.”

Graeme and Lauren danced a Jive to Reet Retite by Jackie Wilson in a bid to win over the judges and fans watching at home, but minutes after leaving the stage, he was overcome with emotion.

Speaking to the pair straight after receiving their feedback from the judges, presenter Johannes Radebe asked: “That was a jam-packed Jive but you called it a beast. Why was that?”.

Turning to Lauren, he said: “I was scared to death of that on Wednesday, wasn’t it?” Lauren agreed: ‘Yes.” Holding back tears, Graeme continued: “I had a bit of a meltdown on Wednesday. I didn’t think I’d be doing that but we did it.”

Reassuring her partner, Lauren said: “You did it. You got through it.” She added: “I’ve challenged him this week. It was tough at times but I can see we’ll learn from it and we’ll move forward. You’ve kind of fought through this week, and you’ve been amazing, so thank you.”

The pair later received their scores from the judges. Craig Revel-Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Shirley Ballas awarded them six points out of 10, and Anton Du Beke gave them seven, making the score 25 out of a possible 40. Last week, Graeme and Lauren topped the leaderboard, scoring 31 points out of 40.

Their performance was highly praised by fans and judges alike, affectionately earning the “Dogfather” presenter a reputation as a genuine ballroom contender.
