Eamonn Holmes’ girlfriend Katie Alexander has shared a motivational quote about “knowing your worth” shortly after she moved out of his flat.

The ex-This Morning host, 66, famously split from his former co-star Ruth Langsford in 2024 after more than a decade of marriage and quickly found love again with Katie, 44, and she moved into the the £1.3million flat he started to rent amid his divorce.

The TV star suffered a stroke in April and whilst Katie and Eamonn are still together, it was reported over the weekend that she had decided to leave the home.

On Tuesday, Katie shared a photo of herself in a bikini onto Instagram and wrote over the top of it: “There is a quiet kind of strength in becoming comfortable with who you are.

“No longer needing to prove, explain or seek validation just choosing peace, protecting your energy and finding beauty in the life you are creating. Softness is strength. Peace is luxury. And knowing your worth changes everything.”

A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Katie is still very much together with Eamonn and in love, but she’s moved out of the flat,” describing it as a “very sad situation” but adding that Katie had enjoyed living there.

They said: “Katie has been Eamonn’s rock and lifeline since he fell ill. She’s willing him to get back to full fitness and get their lives back on track.” Mum-of-three Katie divides her time living at her home in West Yorkshire and the Surrey flat.

The Mirror has reached out to Eamonn’s reps for comment.

Eamonn has battled with his health over the years, undergoing surgery for both hips to alleviate chronic hip, leg, and back pain in 2016.

Following that, he fell down the stairs and fractured his shoulder. He then got a painful infection and later had severe spinal issues that led to bladder and bowel problems and a nine-day hospital stay. Later in 2022, he suffered another fall.

Earlier this year, he was absent from the TRIC Awards when GB News won the Award for Best News Programme for the fourth consecutive year at the annual awards ceremony, but still sent a pre-recorded message.

In the message, he addressed his ill-health saying: “I’d dearly wished I could have been there to celebrate with the team, but for now my focus has to be on making a full recovery and getting back to my best.”

Eamonn thanked those who had wished him well amid his poor health, adding: “I’d also like to thank everyone who has sent their kind get-well messages. They really do mean the world to me.”

Following the presenter’s stroke, his son Declan issued a statement where he thanked everyone for the support, describing his dad’s health woes as a “real shock” but insisted things were looking alright.

He said: “I just wanted to share a quick message to say we hugely appreciate all the messages, it means a lot to us as a family. What happened came as a real shock, but dad is doing OK given the circumstances and we’re taking it one step at a time. For now, we’re focused on him and keeping things steady around him.

“We’d really value a bit of privacy as we navigate it, and what lies ahead, but thank you again for the support as it means so much to dad and the rest of the family.”
