Amaravati: Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh announced on Wednesday that the preliminary notification for AP DSC 2026 (District Selection Committee recruitment) has been released, with a total of 2,721 teacher posts and that the detailed notification would be issued on or before November 3.
In a post shared on social media, the Minister said that out of the total vacancies, 350 posts are for special education teachers. Lokesh said the aim is to ensure better education and individual attention for children with special needs.
The applications for the DSC recruitment will be accepted online only, and the examination will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT). The DSC syllabus has already been uploaded to the official website: tet2dsc.apcfss.in. Candidates can visit the site to download the syllabus and begin their preparation.
The detailed information on eligibility criteria, subject-wise and category-wise vacancies, the application process, exam schedule, and selection procedure would be given in the notification, he stated while extending his best wishes to all candidates preparing for teacher jobs.
