Megan Fox has reportedly reacted to the new romance between her ex, Machine Gun Kelly, and actress Dakota Johnson. Sources have said she is “unbothered” by the relationship, as she has no plans to rekindle things with the rapper despite their turbulent on-off romance.
Megan, 40, and Machine Gun Kelly, 36, whose real name is Colson Baker, got together in 2020. By 2022, they were engaged, but the engagement was called off in 2024. In the November of that year, Megan shared that she was pregnant, and the two now have an 18-month old called Sage.
Their relationship has since ended and MGK has now been linked to Dakota Johnson. The two are said to be growing closer and going on secret dates after meeting at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding.

A source told TMZ that Megan does not care about the new romance. They added that she was planning on remaining single for the foreseeable future, while she focuses on her career and being a mother.
A source also told US Weekly last month that Megan and MGK “only communicate about their daughter”, as they know that they “have toxic tendencies” and feel its better this way.
The two had a rather turbulent relationship over the years, in which they seemed to be on and off. They went on several ‘breaks’ amid cheating rumours, couple’s therapy and major fights. After confirming their engagement had ended on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Megan said: “I think that what I’ve learned from being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption.
“I think, as of now, I don’t have a comment on the status of the relationship, per se. What I can say is [he] is what I refer to as being my ‘twin soul’ and there will always be a tether to him, no matter what. I can’t say for sure what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow. Beyond that, I’m not willing to explain.”
The source added that the rapper will always have a place in his heart for Megan but “gave up pursuing a romantic relationship with her several months ago”.
He has since seemed to move on with Dakota, who has starred in films such as Madame Web, 50 Shades of Grey and Verity. A source told People: “They both really like each other and have been seeing each other more frequently. They haven’t put a label on their relationship yet, but they’re growing closer every time they hand out.”
Speaking to Vogue, Dakota said she tries not to comment on dating rumours: “People are gonna believe what they wanna believe, and I don’t have the energy to fight for that. I would much rather focus on other things in my life. Every day, there’s something on the internet that’s ridiculous and true or not true, and I don’t care.”
MGK is the third musician Dakota has been linked to in recent years, as she dated Chris Martin for eight years between 2017 and 2025, and Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, from December 2025 to August 2026.
