Hyderabad: The TPCC Legal Cell State Executive Committee meeting, held under the chairmanship of TPCC Legal Cell Chairman Ponnam Ashok Goud at Indira Bhavan here on Saturday.
PCC president B Mahesh Kumar Goud, Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu, Labour Minister G Vivek Venkata Swamy, BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar and other leaders attended the meeting.
The role of lawyers in the formation of Telangana State is unforgettable. Lawyers also played a crucial role in the establishment of the People’s Government in 2023, BC Welfare Prabhakar said in a post on ‘X’.
In the upcoming MLC elections for graduates, everyone must work hard to ensure the victory of our fellow lawyer and Congress Party candidate, Sama Ram Mohan Reddy, he said.
Appropriate justice must be ensured for lawyers who have worked tirelessly for the Congress Party. “We will focus on providing opportunities to Congress-affiliated lawyers in legal positions, resolving their issues, and offering legal advice,” he said.
Through Congress Party offices in all 33 districts of Telangana, Legal Cell lawyers must stand as strong support in legal matters related to the party. They must also actively work to provide legal protection to party workers and in matters concerning the government.
“In addition to providing opportunities for lawyers in nominated positions, we will also bring to the government’s attention matters such as allocating house sites and houses for them. We will strive for the welfare of lawyers and the resolution of their issues,” he added.
