Celebrity Traitors recap: Miranda Hart slams feud claims after fiery on-screen clash

Miaranda Hart has denied claims of a feud between herself and Joanne McNally. 
It comes off the back of their furious clash on Thursday’s episode, during which Miranda had become convinced Joanne was a Traitor after hearing the floorboards move during a challenge. 

Despite the theory being debunked by her co-stars, she still brought it up at the roundtable. This led to an awkward clash between the two of them, prompting fans to speculate that something might have gone on between them while the cameras weren’t rolling. 

However, both stars have since taken to Instagram to speak out. Joanne commented on her Stories that it was the episode as “the one where I snapped at Miranda at the table”. 

Defending herself, she said: “Was it my finest moment? No. Did the tension of the roundtable and the general gaslighting get into my head in that moment? Yes it did.

“What can you do? It is a game about gaslighting. It’s a funny game to navigate. Rest assured, me and Miranda have laughed about it since.”

While Miranda added: “It’s so funny to me that people are saying that you snapped. Never felt like that. 

“Was never stressed. And actually we chinked glasses and laughed on the night.”
