The final round of the 2026 Butterfield Bermuda Championship has been suspended due to high winds, and the PGA Tour has announced that players will not tee it up at all on Sunday.
With one round remaining, play was scheduled to begin early on Sunday morning with threesomes going off of split tees starting at 6:45 a.m. ET, despite a forecast of steady rain showers and wind.
But as the start time drew near on Sunday, tee times were first postponed by one hour to a 7:45 a.m. ET start, with the leaders in the final group scheduled to go off at 9:46 a.m. ET. But shortly after that update, the Tour called off the day’s play due to diminishing conditions and extremely high winds.
BUTTERFIELD BERMUDA CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE: With no improvement to the current weather conditions and anticipated further deterioration, there will be no play today.
More information regarding play on Monday will be provided no later than 5:00 PM local time today. https://t.co/pRUH8DY0Ze

With one round remaining in Bermuda, two established players lead the field by two shots at 16 under par: Seamus Power, who won this tournament in 2022, and Austin Smotherman, who recently claimed his first career PGA Tour victory earlier this month at the Bank of Utah Championship.
Behind them are a multitude of players who are hoping to capitalize on a win or high finish at this point in the FedEx Cup Fall season. There are currently 14 players within four shots of the lead, including Tour veterans like Corey Connors and Chris Kirk.
