The excitement surrounding Nitesh Tiwari’s much-awaited Ramayana Part One continues to grow as the film gears up for its theatrical release on November 5. Advance bookings opened on Dussehra, 15 days before the release, and witnessed an impressive response on the first day. Although ticket sales have slowed slightly since the initial rush, the film continues to maintain steady momentum.

According to reports, Ramayana has already collected Rs 10 crore through advance bookings in India, with more than two lakh tickets sold for its opening day. The Hindi version continues to dominate ticket sales, contributing nearly 87 per cent of the total domestic advance bookings.

However, the film is also gaining traction in regional markets. The Kannada version, which is currently available across approximately 100 screens, has collected over Rs 1 crore in advance sales. Several centres have reportedly recorded nearly 80 per cent occupancy for morning shows. Meanwhile, the Telugu version has opened bookings across just 10 to 15 screens and is approaching the Rs 40 lakh mark.

The film has also received an encouraging response from international audiences. Paid previews are scheduled to take place in North America on November 4, a day before its official release. As per Sacnilk, tickets worth approximately $550,000 have already been sold for these preview screenings. Additionally, overseas advance bookings for the opening day have contributed another $400,000.
