A former Corrie actress has wowed fans with a “glam makeover” roughly seven years after her character was written out of the beloved soap. Katie McGlynn, 33, remains widely recognised for portraying Sinead Tinker in Coronation Street from 2013 to 2019 — though her character ultimately passed away following a heartbreaking battle with terminal cervical cancer.
Now, years down the line, Katie is donning quite a different look to how many may remember the beloved Sinead. Recently, she’s been modelling some glamorous looks on Instagram, and one of her latest quickly grabbed attention, as people think she appeared bold, confident and beautiful.
She’s not the only former Corrie actress to have taken people by surprise either. Earlier this month, Sue Cleaver also looked unrecognisable as she stepped into a new role.
Katie recently uploaded several photographs online, alongside the caption: “Saints, sinners and chippy dinners. When Mamma tries to give main character energy, yet the puppy reminds her she’s always the supporting cast.”
In the images, her dog manages to feature in one shot, though it’s apparent most attention remained fixed on her outfit. Sporting a black jacket, a short leather skirt and t-shirt, she appeared utterly striking.
