Lewis Hamilton has opened up about how he has bonded with the children of his girlfriend Kim Kardashian, who shares her four kids with ex husband Kanye West
Lewis Hamilton has shared a little insight into how he’s bonding with girlfriend Kim Kardashian’s children. The F1 star has been dating Kim since earlier this year and is working hard to win over her four kids, whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West.
Lewis and Kim were first linked romantically eight months ago, after spending a weekend away in the Cotswolds together. During a panel ahead of the F1 Grand Prix in Texas, the race car driver shared how he got on with her children, North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
He said: “My girlfriend’s kids, I love spending time with them. She’s got four, so I’m getting to play with these kids.” Lewis added that he had bought Kim’s children a pet to help the family grow. “I got them a dog this year, so little Halo is a new member of that family.”

Kim and Lewis have been sharing a lot of their relationship with the wider world over the last few months. Kim and her sister Khloe both turned up to Formula 1 event to support Lewis earlier this year, and later in the summer, he joined her on a family holiday.
Sharing pictures from the lake trip, Kim posted a selfie of her, Lewis and her daughter Chicago. In it, Chicago grinned at the camera, while Kim laid her head on her daughter’s head, and Lewis rested his cheek on Kim’s.
A month later, Kim shared more selfies of her a Lewis. The first saw them pose together in the back of a car with another showing him taking her by the waist in what appears to be a hotel room.
After making things official in April, Lewis said before the British Grand Prix, that Kim had made him a “happier man”. Meanwhile, when Kim’s reality series, The Kardashians, returned earlier this month, the star was a little more coy about who she was dating, but told cameras: “Let’s just say that every single box on my manifest list was checked.
“Isn’t that crazy? Every single one. 55. To just look up one day and be like, ‘Wait, let me check the manifest list,’ and be like, ‘Yes! Yes! Yes!’ It’s a crazy feeling.”
Prior to dating Lewis, Kim has been linked to Pete Davidson, whom she also spoke about on The Kardashians, but has largely remained single since her divorce from Kanye in 2021. She told The Times: “I wanted to completely heal and just work on myself. I wasn’t ready to open up. I really wasn’t even thinking about it…The universe works in your favor when you just allow it to.”
The star was married to Kanye from 2014 to 2021. Lewis, meanwhile, dated Nicole Scherzinger from 2007 to 2015. He previously shared how he felt his job had gotten in the way of relationships, telling RTBF: “I look at the other [F1] drivers and I wonder how they’re doing it. Some are having kids, some married, most of them have girlfriends.
”I did that when I was in my 20s. But I took a decision to really maximize my time that I have here because it’s not as long as you think and it’s limited. I don’t want to look back and be like, ‘If I just gave a little bit more here, I didn’t sacrifice my time because I was committed elsewhere.'”
