HYDERABAD: Acting on reliable information that a prostitution racket, involving foreign women, was being operated out of an apartment in Madhapur, the Kukatpally police special operations team and Madhapur police conducted a joint raid and apprehended the group. The police raided flat number 201 at Orion Elegant Service Apartments, located in Survey of India Colony, Chandra Naik Thanda, Madhapur.
During the operation, the police took three foreign women into custody. However, a man named Naik, who was allegedly running the prostitution racket, managed to escape.
Madhapur inspector Subba Rao stated that all three women are from Uzbekistan. They arrived in India via Nepal and travelled from Delhi to Hyderabad with the help of a Delhi-based agent named Nayak. Inspector Subba Rao stated that a comprehensive investigation into the network is underway.
