VidantaWorld Mexico Open Round 2 tee times: What to know
Veteran PGA Tour pro Denny McCarthy had mostly disappointing results this season, but he did come close to earning his first Tour win in one instance. McCarthy finished T3 at the 3M Open in July, his only top-10 of the year so far.
However, the 33-year-old pro may add a second one this week at the VidantaWorld Mexico Open, or even do one better and capture that long-awaited victory.
McCarthy opened the first round on fire, making three birdies on his first nine and adding two more on the back to reach five under through 14 holes. That was good enough to give McCarthy the early lead.
He’ll have to hang tough through three more rounds if he wants to enter the winner’s circle for the first time.
McCarthy will tee off on Friday at 1:45 p.m. ET alongside Patrick Rodgers and David Lipsky.
You can watch Friday’s second round of the 2026 VidantaWorld Mexico Open from 4-7 p.m. ET on Golf Channel. Simulcasts of the TV coverage can be viewed on Golfchannel.com and the Golf Channel app.
