It’s been the biggest and most dramatic night on the Celebrity Traitors so far and James Acaster has completely changed the game, writes Jasmine Allday ☆☆☆☆☆
Wow, what a night it’s been on the Celebrity Traitors.
I don’t care what anyone else says, James Acaster has played a blinder of a game! Never wanting to be a Traitor, the most Faithful player we have ever seen gets picked to be a Traitor within moments of his castle arrival – iconic!
A Traitor making a plan to never lie, also iconic! Revealing he was a Traitor at the roundtable after getting a bit of heat in tonight’s episode – the most iconic thing to ever exit! The internet’s latest celebrity crush and now one of the most iconic players in history.
However, I can’t help but think this will cause quite the chaos amongst the group. Already, Michael has named James, Maya and Kenny as his three Traitors, despite naming them all the most trustworthy just a day before! Hello, what happened to those missing scenes?!
Whilst James didn’t break any oaths as he didn’t throw anyone else under the bus with his exit, I think he’s sealed a win for the Faithfuls tomorrow night when the finale airs.
James has perfectly proved to all the remaining Faithfuls that flying under the radar is the best way to win the game. Of those sat at the roundtable tonight, only three never had any heat on them – Maya, Kenny and James A.
It is quite a turn for a series, which started with Richard E Grant announcing he’s a Traitor and ended with James A announcing his Traitorous ways too.
The thing about this game is that it makes you question every twist and turn and second guess everything. If James was a Traitor, well then it makes sense Maya and Kenny are too. His exit has taught everyone to look at things differently.
Before it all ends tomorrow night, we will see one more Faithful murdered – and no doubt it will be a big exit. A final ‘death’ to celebrate what has been the most incredible series – and in my eyes arguably the best we’ve seen of both UK versions.
These iconic moments just make this show what it is and for sure, James didn’t win the show – but he really did just cement his standing as the most famous Celebrity Traitors contestant ever to exist.
In the words of the best Faithful Traitor we have ever seen, “Now we’ve got a proper final on our hands.”
