The Ravens are getting their quarterback at last.
Star Lamar Jackson will be back this week against the Bills, Ravens head coach Jesse Minter told reporters Friday.
Jackson was a full participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday after missing three games with a high ankle sprain.
Jackson told reporters Friday that there is some lingering pain in his ankle, and it hurts to plant his foot, but it shouldn’t impact his movement come gametime.
“I feel like I’m no longer a statue,” Jackson said. “I’m able to move around a little better. I’m going to give it a shot.”
The Ravens went 1-2 in Jackson’s absence, including back-to-back losses to divisional rivals in the Browns and Bengals.
In his first four games, Jackson recorded a 70.8 completion percentage for 967 yards, six touchdowns and one interception. He added 144 rushing yards with a touchdown.

In Jackson’s absence, Tyler Huntley took over under center, throwing for 727 yards, four touchdowns, and an interception, completing 69.8 percent of passes and rushing for 76 yards and a touchdown.
Jackson should provide a boost to a Ravens offensive squad that needs it. They led last week’s clash with the Bengals 13-0 at halftime before being outscored 35-0 in the second half, marking the most points Baltimore has allowed in a second half since Week 6 in 1997.
Jackson and the Ravens will face a struggling Bills defense this weekend. Buffalo’s defenders have allowed an average of 28.5 points per game this season, the third-highest mark in the league, and at least 30 points in five of their last six contests.
