Anantapur: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep anguish over the attack on a Class X student inside her classroom at Rapthadu Zilla Parishad High School, Anantapur on Saturday.
In a message posted on X, Naidu said that those who target young girls inside schools have no place in society.
The Chief Minister said he was personally monitoring the injured student’s recovery and directed the medical team to ensure that she received the highest priority in treatment.
He also instructed the police to track down the accused and ensure that the strictest punishment permissible under the law was imposed swiftly.
