Social media, particularly NTR fans, has been abuzz with discussions about the God of War, Lord Murugan. However, music composer Thaman has now surprised everyone by shifting the conversation towards another ambitious project.
Speaking at an event, Thaman expressed his wish to see Trivikram Srinivas direct a film based on the Ramayana. He even predicted that it would become the biggest Telugu film after the legendary ‘Mayabazar’ and run in theatres for more than 365 days.
Interestingly, Thaman was earlier quite vocal about Trivikram’s much-discussed film on the God of War and was widely expected to compose music for the project. However, after the makers officially announced Anirudh Ravichander as the music director, Thaman appears to have shifted his focus to Trivikram’s dream project on Lord Ram.
With one proposed film revolving around Lord Murugan and another around Lord Ram, curiosity is naturally building over which subject Trivikram will eventually choose.
Known for his philosophical speeches and often addressed as ‘Guruji’, Trivikram has the ability to explore both epics with his distinctive storytelling style. Whether he picks the story of Lord Murugan or takes up the Ramayana remains to be seen, says a distributor.
