Lisa got the injectables back in 2024, following which she attended the 2024 Fashion Trust Awards in Beverly Hills. However, the procedure wasn’t successful for Lisa Rinna, and it ended up swelling her cheeks.

According to the Daily Mail, Rinna regretted getting the surgery before the event, and she shared what led her to try SKINVIVE.
The actress shared that she wanted to have Botox, but someone recommended this procedure named SKINVIVE, claiming that it won’t add any extra volume, but would only add glow. As Lisa had opted for it, her cheeks swelled up. Lisa felt that she looked ‘freakish’, and the reason was that, along with her swollen cheeks, she also got Botox in her jaw for her TMJ. She further recalled being a topic of discussion as people saw the changes. She said:
“All of a sudden, my cheeks were like a squirrel gathering nuts. Well, the combination of the Botox making my jawline atrophy, and SKINVIVE giving me volume, made me look freakish.”
Lisa felt humiliated as everyone discussed her face, from doctors to influencers. Admitting that she was aware of the fact that she looked terrible, Lisa Rinna said:
“Everybody put my picture up because my face did look different. Everyone was so mean about it. I was all over TikTok and all over every f—ing doctor’s site. Oh my God. It was really humiliating because I knew that it looked terrible. Fortunately, I’m an old battle axe at this point and I can take it.”

Reacting to the video, Lisa commented, adding that SKINVIVE wasn’t good for her. She also said she dissolved it. In the same comment, Lisa told people to be aware, adding that doctors might say this procedure wouldn’t add volume, but it does.
