A source has shut down any romance rumours between Maya Jama and King Kenny, saying that the YouTuber slept on the broadcaster’s sofa at her north London home this week.
You wouldn’t think romance would blossom between Celebrity Traitors star Maya Jama and King Kenny after the Love Island star’s shot at winning the show was torpedoed by her fellow Traitor on Friday night.
Nonetheless, many fans have been hoping for it – but in vain, it appears. Maya, 32, and YouTuber Kenny, 29, were friends before appearing on the show and new reports that he visited the star at her £1.5million London flat have been dismissed as two pals meeting up.
An insider shut down any romance speculation, saying that Kenny slept on the sofa. The source added that the pair, who were both Traitors on the show, “find it hilarious that their relationship could be anything else.”
“Maya and Kenny are just friends. There is nothing romantic between them,” a source told The Sun on Sunday. “Kenny has been firmly on the sofa this week and the pair find it hilarious that their relationship could be anything else.”

The insider added that Kenny has been visiting Maya’s home to spend some time with friends who have been staying with the TV presenter.
The source told the publication that the pair “are genuinely really good friends” and built “a stronger bond” by starring on The Celebrity Traitors together. The insider added that Maya is single and is currently focusing on work and spending time with friends.
Earlier this year, Maya split from Manchester City footballer Rúben Dias after 18 months together. The couple started dating around late 2024 and lived together in Cheshire.
Recently, Maya shut down rumours of a reconciliation with her ex-boyfriend Stormzy, clarifying that they are just friends. The former high-profile couple first dated for five years before splitting in 2019, then briefly rekindled their relationship in 2023 before confirming a permanent breakup in July 2024.
Kenny, who has kept his romantic life entirely out of the public eye, is also single. The Beta Squad content creator has never publicly confirmed a girlfriend or shared relationship details on his social platforms.
During the dramatic final of The Celebrity Traitors, which aired on Friday, October 30, Kenny turned against his fellow Traitor maya at the final roundtable, casting a crucial vote that led to her banishment.
In post-finale interviews, Maya stated that she “loves Kenny to bits” and wasn’t deeply hurt because he “didn’t really have much of a choice” under the pressure.
Despite turning against Maya, Kenny failed to secure the win as the remaining contestants eventually eliminated him too. With both the final Traitors out of the show, Faithfuls Sebastian Croft and Romesh Ranganathan won, splitting the £83,000 prize pot for their respective charities.
