Channel 4 has confirmed the future of the beloved family show starring Amanda and Clive Owen and family
Channel 4 has confirmed what’s next for hit comfort show Our Farm Next Door.
The Yorkshire-based series follows the Owen family – Amanda, Clive and their nine children – as they renovate a centuries-old farmhouse called Anty John’s. The family work together to transform the property, all while keeping up with the daily battles of farm life.
It has been More4’s highest rated show for three years and there’s plenty more to come. Channel 4 has now confirmed that the series will return for two more seasons at More4, with the whole family set to step back into the spotlight.
Production company Wise Owl Films will continue to follow the Owens for seasons five and six, spanning 10 episodes in total. Season five is set to pick up where the fourth instalment left off, following Amanda and the girls’ first sleepover at Anty John’s. It will also cover the famous family’s lives from this past summer all the way into spring 2027.
The broadcaster has teased the upcoming seasons, revealing: “With all eleven Owens involved, the series follows Edith, Violet and their sisters as they open up the cream tea van at Ravenseat, while Sid and Miles continue to take on more farming duties – all amidst the ever-present backdrop of the changing seasons in Swaledale for Amanda, Clive and their family.”
Jayne Stanger, Commissioning Editor for the channel, said: “Our Farm Next Door is a joy of a series that holds a special place in the hearts of our More4 viewers.
“I am thrilled we’re continuing to work with the team at Wise Owl to follow Amanda, Clive and the whole family on their renovation journey and I can’t wait to see whether Anty John’s might ever be finished!”

James Knight, Creative Director at Wise Owl Films, added: “Amanda admits she has never seen a renovation show on TV, which might help explain why we think Our Farm Next Door is unlike any other series on television.
“The combination of family life, the farming calendar and the subject of succession on the farm, the ever-revealing history of Anty John’s and of course the appropriately slow (reflecting Swaledale life) renovation of the building means there is always something fascinating going on for us filming with the Owens.”
Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids can be streamed on Channel 4’s on-demand service
The final episode of Our Farm Next Door season four will air on More4 tonight (November 2) at 9pm.
