Coleen Nolan says she is giving her pets away as she plans a move with her new boyfriend Ryan.
The Loose Women star, 61, has been dating Ryan Brockbank, who is 14 years her junior, and is planning to make a big step with him. She revealed she has sold her farm and is planning somewhere smaller with Ryan.
During a recent TV appearance, Coleen discussed her plans to leave the farm now that her daughter Ciara is moving out with her own family, but insists the plans weren’t because she met Ryan.
“It was to do with the fact that a few months ago before I met Ryan, Ciara (her daughter), who now has a baby and she’s getting married next year said to me ‘Me and Maxx are gonna move out,'” she said on Loose Women.
“Which is fantastic because they need their own space and they need to start their own life without mum or mum in law. She felt really guilty about it. I said ‘I think that’s the best decision but however if you do that I can’t do the farm on my own.’
“I mean it’s hard enough with me and Ciara but now she’s got a one-year-old… The dream of it has been everything I wanted it to be but the reality is really hard.” She is planning to sell her horses and the chickens and ducks would stay with those who buy the farm.
However, she reassured viewers that she would be taking her cats and dogs with her to London. She added: “The dogs and the cats are fine with us but the horses have got beautiful new homes and I think the goats, ducks and the chickens are staying on the farm.
“I met Ryan then it was like okay if I’m going to downsize, I’ve got someone wonderful to do that with and start a whole new adventure of life with someone new.”

Coleen previously opened up about the possibility of her marrying Ryan after saying she’d never tie the knot again. She was previously married to Shane Richie until 1999 and Ray Fensome until 2018.
Speaking on the At Home With Vanessa podcast, she said: “No I’ve told him… not that we’ve talked about marriage. No, because my daughter is getting married next year and I don’t want anything to overshadow that anyway.
“Even if he did propose, I’d be like… But he wouldn’t because I’ve said to him, ‘I don’t want anything to overshadow, it’s all about her.'”
Coleen was adamant before she met Ryan that she would never get married again but she hasn’t ruled it out with her new man. She shared: “I said if I meet someone, I don’t want to get married again. I never want to get married again, what’s the point? Bla bla bla and then you meet someone and you think, ‘Oh maybe’ and because the thing is I loved being married.
“I loved it but the problem is when it goes wrong it’s awful so it’s that bit, but then you meet someone and you think, ‘Well maybe this is the one that won’t go wrong.'”
