Salman Khan is known for doing things his own way, and his latest song launch was no different. The actor surprised fans early Wednesday morning by dropping a teaser of his new track, Teri Sexy Beauty, on social media at around 5 AM, without any prior announcement.
Salman shared the video on Instagram and accompanied it with a playful caption that referenced an early-morning flight while hinting at the song’s lyrics. “Departure time 5:12 am…. Flight on time, 2 pegs down taking off with my sexy beauty… pata nahi kahaan mai land karoon,” he wrote. The actor also added the hashtag #TeriSexyBeauty Out Now and directed fans to the link in his Instagram bio to watch the full track on YouTube.
Teri Sexy Beauty is from Salman’s upcoming film Maatrubhumi, which also stars Chitrangada Singh. The track has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya, with vocals by Salman Khan and Muskaan. Sajid Khan has contributed additional vocals and penned the lyrics. The music video features Salman and Chitrangada Singh, offering fans a glimpse of the two sharing the screen in the upcoming film.
Salman Khan has sung several songs for his films over the years, including Hangover and Tu Hi Tu from Kick, Main Hoon Hero Tera from Hero and Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai and Jag Ghoomeya from Sultan. One of his early singing credits was Chandi Ki Daal Par from Hello Brother.
The film was initially scheduled to hit theatres in April this year but was subsequently postponed. After reports of it being shelved surfaced, the makers dismissed the speculation. However, a revised release date is yet to be officially announced.
