Previously, Netflix came close to securing the streaming rights for UFC events in 2025. The streaming giant had approved a Dana White documentary to be produced alongside the fights.
However, while the UFC deal never came to fruition, Page Six has now reported that the documentary will still go ahead. According to the reports, the documentary will be shown within the first three months of 2027.

White, 57, has been heavily involved in promoting and producing the much-awaited fight between Fury and Joshua. While Eddie Hearn claimed that White and the UFC had no role in promoting the fight, Dana White shared completely contrasting statements. White wanted the fight to take place at Madison Square Garden in New York City. However, the location was pushed back by Joshua and Hearn, who wanted the fight to take place in the British Isles.

Hearn is hopeful to see White at the pre-fight press conference next month and has a lot to say to him on a open forum. Should Netflix be rolling their cameras and filming the event, all of their banter could be caught on camera for the documentary. Netflix is currently set to stream the Joshua-Fury fight and would also be able to use footage from that for their White documentary.
