Florida football players are determined to finish the 2026 season strong.
That challenge begins when the Florida Gators (5-3, 3-3 SEC) return home to face Oklahoma (4-4, 2-3 SEC) on Saturday, November 7 (7:45 p.m. SEC) in their first game at The Swamp in close to a month.

Florida is 3-1 at home this season, but UF’s last game in Gainesville didn’t go well, as the Gators lost 38-19 to South Carolina on October 10 in their homecoming game.
UF will honor former coach Urban Meyer before the game, inducting the College Football Hall of Famer into its stadium ring of honor. Meyer led the Gators to two national titles (2006, 2008) and two SEC titles (2006, 2008) from 2005-10.
“I love playing in The Swamp,” Florida tight end Lacota Dippre said. “I love playing in front of our fans. Obviously, Urban had success here, and it’d be cool to have a great showing for him and things like that. I know he still supports us, so it’s just something about going out there and playing our best brand of football.”
Here are five players to watch for UF’s matchup with Oklahoma, and a projected depth chart.

Florida football RB Jadan Baugh
The 6-foot-1, 225-pound Baugh remains on pace for a 1,000-yard season with 152 carries for 801 yards and 13 TDs on the year. But he hasn’t rushed for more than 100 yards since running for 142 yards and 3 TDs against Ole Miss.
Baugh will face another challenge against a physical Oklahoma front seven that’s allowing 129.3 yards per game on the ground.
Florida football WR Dallas Wilson
Florida’s goal is to find a way to get more targets for Wilson, who had just two catches for 14 yards on four targets against Georgia. For the season, the 6-3, 212-pound Wilson has posted 31 catches with a team-high 417 yards receiving and a team-high 3 receiving TDs.

“We want him to have more opportunities,” said Florida offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner. “But sometimes in the game, when you play wideout, they don’t always come your way.”
Florida football DT Brendan Bett
The 6-4, 319-pound Bett had four tackles and two pass breakups against Georgia and will be counted on again for interior push against the Sooners. For the season, Bett has posted 23 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, half a sack and 2 pass breakups.
“We’re starting to get more aggressive in things that we do,” Bett said. “Spend a lot of time where you can isolate people and kind of put people in bad spots and then allow our playmakers to go make playmaking plays.”

Florida football DE Emmanuel Oyebadejo
The 6-6, 299-pound Oyebadejo disrupted the quarterback again against Georgia with two tackles, a sack and a pass breakup. A Jacksonville State transfer, Oyebadejo has posted 14 tackles, 4.5 sacks, 5.5 tackles for loss and 3 pass breakups this season.
“It hasn’t been perfect, but I’m definitely happy with how the year has gone,” Oyebadejo said. “I feel like I’ve definitely been able to put some good stuff on tape, you know it’s still a work in progress, there’s things that I need to get right, that I need to work on, but you know I’m just happy I was able to take a step up from Conference USA to the SEC and be impactful, and help the team win games.”
Florida football S DJ Coleman
Coleman had a team-high seven tackles for the Gators and his third takeaway of the season with a forced fumble against the Bulldogs. The 6-0, 206-pound Coleman has been a leader on defense for UF throughout the 2026 season with 32 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 2 interceptions, 3 pass breakups and 1 forced fumble.

“It’s four games left,” Coleman said. “We plan on doing everything we can in our willpower to win every game we have left on the schedule and give ourselves an opportunity to do something big moving forward, for sure.”
