Middlesbrough boss Kim Hellberg hopes Will Lankshear could face Watford on Saturday, although the striker remains a doubt.
Lankshear missed his side’s 2-0 defeat to Wrexham on Wednesday and Hellberg revealed Lankshear had initially been due to start before being ruled out late on.

“Will was due to be in the starting line-up for this game on Tuesday, but could not play in the end,” Hellberg said.
“That meant we had to change things late.
“I don’t know exactly how he is right now. I still hope he might play on Saturday at Watford, but we will have to see.”
The Boro boss did, however, play down concerns over a lengthy absence.
“If not, we then have the international break and he should be fine,” Hellberg added.
“It’s nothing serious.”
