American Pie star Thomas Nicholas is ready to bring his unique night to the UK as he allows fans to reminisce about the teen comedy franchise before treating them to his tunes
He might be best known as Kevin Myers in cult teen comedy franchise American Pie, but Thomas Nicholas has another string to his bow. The actor has turned musician and is already on his seventh studio album with the Thomas Nicholas Band.
And he is bringing his music to the UK in a unique fashion. The front man, 46, is ready to mix his past with his future for an American Pie meets emo crossover.
“American Pie has been part of people’s lives for more than 25 years now, and it’s crazy how much love there still is for those films,” he said in the announcement of his UK tour.

“I get to meet fans all over the world who grew up watching them, and that’s always a lot of fun,” he went on as he opened up on what gives this tour a unique twist.
“What makes these nights really special is bringing everything together. We get to watch the movie [American Pie], share some stories, have a few laughs and then turn the place into a rock show.
“If you grew up on American Pie, pop-punk and those classic 90s and 00s soundtracks, this is your kind of night,” he insisted.
His UK shows will feature a special VIP experience which gives fans the chance to meet the star and enjoy an exclusive acoustic set before general admission doors open.
After watching the movie with one of the main stars, fans will be able to take part in a live audience Q&A before the actor turns musician and enters the stage as the Thomas Nicholas Band.
The tour will take in a number of venues in the UK, including stages in Coventry, Frome, Torquay and Stockton.
A spokesperson for KU Stockton said: “Whether you’re a massive American Pie fan, love your pop-punk and emo anthems or just fancy a completely different Friday night out, this is going to be a lot of fun. Events like this don’t come around very often in Stockton.”
Released in 1999, American Pie became a global box office phenomenon and one of the most recognisable teen comedies of its era, spawning a hugely successful film franchise and introducing audiences to a cast of characters who became household names.
Nicholas starred as Kevin Myers alongside Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Alyson Hannigan, Chris Klein and Tara Reid, helping to create a film that remains a cult favourite more than 25 years later.
Tara previously spoke to the Mirror about the cast’s “special bond”. She said: “Every time we do a film with them, it’s almost like you’re going away for sleepaway camp.
“Everyone gets along really well and it’s so much fun with each other. You never forget really who you start off with. So there’s a really special bond between all of us on American Pie and that’s always gonna be there, for sure.”
Thomas’s music career even led to him recording a song, ‘My Generation’, that appears in the American Reunion soundtrack album.
