She also requested the controller to clear them to climb to 37,000 feet in search of smoother air.
After the controller approved the request, Nathalia informed that the aircraft was descending sharply, exceeding 20,000 feet per minute. Moments before the aircraft nose-dived into the ground, Nathalia could be heard saying, “We’re going to crash into the ground.”
In another chilling transmission captured in air traffic control audio, Nathalia was heard shouting, “Holy f**k we’re out of time,” moments before the aircraft nose-dived into the ground, while pilot Jeff Gregory was heard praying to God for their lives.
Regarding Nathalia’s last interaction, it was reportedly with her boyfriend, Justin, as shared by her stepdad, as per NY Post. She reportedly texted Justin, just 10 minutes before the fatal crash.
