Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu on Saturday unveiled the poster for the Telangana State Teachers Federation (STF) State Education Conference at Praja Bhavan in Hyderabad. The conference will be held on November 15 at Engineers Bhavan in Khairatabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhatti Vikramarka said the State government was introducing major reforms in the education sector and taking steps to strengthen government schools. These initiatives would help Telangana emerge as a leading State in education, he said.
He said the government was taking several measures to improve educational standards in government schools, provide a better learning environment for students and strengthen the public education system.
STF Telangana State president Devarakonda Saidulu and general secretary U. Pochaiah called upon teachers from across the State to attend the conference in large numbers.
They said the conference would discuss strengthening government schools, the government’s education reforms, teachers’ issues and measures needed for the development of the education sector.
They said STF would continue its efforts to strengthen public education, protect teachers’ interests and ensure quality education for students.
