As the off-season trudges ever onward, we here at Purple Row wanted to try something new (inspired by our friends over at the AZ Snake Pit) with our readers in mind. Therefore, we are kicking off the first annual Purple Row Awards! Here’s how it works:
-
For the next several Sundays in our “This Week in Purple” post, we will reveal the award category and provide a few nominations from our staff here on the site.
-
If you have a nomination of your own, post it in the comments section. Please include a link to the video if possible from MLB.com’s Film Room.
-
On Wednesday, we will post a poll on The Feed for readers to select their winner for the award. The finalists will be determined by rec’s in the comments, and the poll will close on Friday. Make sure to rec your favorites!
-
We will reveal our winner on Saturday!
So without further ado, allow us to introduce the first award category and staff nominations!
