Adam Peaty’s sister has spoken out on the famous feud between her family and the Ramsays. Bethany, 32, is the younger sister of Olympian Adam, who has become estranged from his family amid his relationship with Holly Ramsay. The swimmer tied the knot with Holly, who is the daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, just days after Christmas last year and while his parents and brothers were absent, Bethany was in attendance.
Now, carer Bethany, who has an eight-year-old son and a five-year-old daughter, has broken her silence on the matter, admitting that it has all been a “very difficult” time. She said: “I’m caught right in the middle of the row. But I’ve made up with mum really for the children. They adore her and she is a great grandma and a good mum.”

Beth, who is currently engaged to Daniel Rogerson, 37, explained to the Mail that she found it “very sad” that Adam had banned their mother from the wedding ceremony, as she acknowledged the “different world” that the Ramsays inhabit. She said: “It’s a wonderful world, a very different one to the one we know. They are a good family and made me feel very welcome.”

Meanwhile, Beth has no idea when she and Daniel will tie the knot, explaining to the outlet: “I don’t know when we are getting married – it won’t be on the Ramsay scale!” At the time of the wedding, it was reported that Bethany had “betrayed” her mother by attending t he ceremony. Bethany was not just the only member of the family still invited to the wedding but part of the bridal party.
Though his sister, Bethany, attended, Adam’s parents, Caroline and Mark, and his brothers, James and Richard, stayed in Staffordshire. Gordon and Caroline were said to have clashed at the engagement party in 2024 when she was angered as several family members were not invited to the party.
Later, Caroline was not invited to Holly’s hen do. After this, her sister, Louise wrote a scathing message to the couple, and Holly was reportedly so upset, Caroline was officially uninvited from the wedding. A further blow for the family came just days ago, when Adam opted to not publicly acknowledge Caroline on Mothering Sunday.
In Holly’s post she shared a series of snaps of her and her mum Tana including one of her wedding day, which mother-in-law Caroline was uninvited to. Another showed the pair walking hand in hand during the infamous hen party, which saw the likes of Victoria Beckham attend. She captioned her post saying: “Happy Mother’s Day to the best mama. I love you so much xxxx.”
Relations between the clan are said to have gone from bad to worse in recent times after it emerged that the Olympian has now started to call TV chef Gordon “dad.” Adam’s aunt to hit out at what she called her nephew’s “toadying behaviour.” Taking to Instagram she fumed as she felt that Adam calling Gordon dad was disrespectful to his biological father, who “worked his hands raw and bleeding” to encourage his swimming career.
She penned: “Oh Adam your poor dad. How could you? That man literally worked his hands bloody in order that you could pursue your dream… He worked long long days as a brickie – a hard laborious back breaking job. He did it without moan or complaint.”
