This time, Adam Sandler does not want to just go with it.
The actor, 59, debunked the fake TikTok that claimed his oldest daughter Sadie had an alleged incident at a Chanel store.
Sandler, who shares daughters Sadie, 19, and Sunny, 17, with his wife Jackie, told People on Thursday at the Santa Barbara Film Festival: “By the way, there’s something on the internet talking about that dumb thing.”
He continued. “I’ve been hearing about this thing and I saw it, and it’s just insane.”
The Tuesday video falsely showed Sandler recounting a story that a Chanel employee in Beverly Hills told Sadie she “wasn’t allowed to touch” certain items and that she was “publicly humiliated.”
The clip then has Sandler claim he bought $312,000 worth of bags just to teach the employee a lesson.
“It’s just this made-up, weird thing that people ask me about,” Sandler said of the fake footage. “And I’m just like, ‘I’ve never heard of this in my life.’ That story was 100 percent insane and made-up, and not a word of it is true.”
Trying to shut down the false tale, the “Happy Gilmore” star explained to USA Today that he had a friend reach out and ask about the story — which he called “nonsense.”
“That was one of the weirdest, dumbest, 100% made up things. It was very odd,” Sandler admitted. “I don’t know how that [expletive] happens.”
However, Sandler did confess that the New York Post reported accurately that he was grabbing a bite at a Southern California In-N-Out Burger last month.
“I have to say, that story is true,” he told People. “So that one’s true. The other one’s pathetic.”
During the film festival, Sandler took home the Maltin Modern Master Award and gave Jackie, 51, whom he tied the knot with in 2003, a shout out.
Calling the actress “the love of my life” during his acceptance speech, he stated: “Thank you for keeping me going all these years. I love you forever. I couldn’t do it without you.”
“To my daughters, Sadie and Sunny, you guys are my world,” added Sandler. “I love you two like you’ll never know.”
Meanwhile, in January, the comedian was pictured picking up his In In-N-Out order on Jan. 3 at the restaurant in Cabazon, a desert town in Riverside County, per ABC7.
Sandler sported his signature casual look, wearing an olive-green hoodie, shorts and sneakers.
Restaurant-goer Odeira Villeda recorded a video of the star waiting for his food as others looked on in disbelief.
“We were waiting for our order when Adam Sandler casually appeared in line,” Villeda recalled. “A lot of people noticed and were amazed. The In-N-Out worker even brought his food to the table — which they usually don’t do.”
Sandler was also seen greeting fans and taking pictures before eating his meal.
