Strictly Come Dancing star, Adam Thomas, was in floods of tears on the latest episode of his podcast, At Home with the Thomas Brothers, which he records with his siblings, Scott and Ryan

Adam Thomas is seen sobbing in his latest podcast as he admits feeling guilty about his ‘amazing life’. The Waterloo Road star, 37, was speaking to his brothers, Ryan and Scott, on their At Home with the Thomas Brothers show when he opened up about his struggles with self-confidence – despite ‘having it all’.

Acknowledging his “beautiful wife” and children, he said: “There’s days when I walk downstairs in this house and I think: ‘F*****g hell, I’m so grateful, I’m so lucky. But I feel guilty because of it. Why do I deserve this? Why do I deserve this beautiful wife and perfect family? Why me? I’m no different to anybody else.”

Admitting he continues to doubt himself, despite his sterling success, he continued while stifling tears: “That’s the one thing that I’m chasing, the self-belief and confidence. On paper, the life I’ve created for myself is ridiculous, it’s amazing. But sometimes there’s this one thing inside me, I just doubt myself.

“I feel like I’m no good at this or that, I’m not a good friend, not a good husband, at times not a great dad, not necessarily wanting to further my career…” Concluding, Adam says he needs to take his own advice as he takes a deep breath and says: “I’m everyone else’s best friend and I will always big everyone up and tell them how great they are…and I just don’t do that for myself.”

Responding to the candid clip, the actor’s followers were full of support. One replied: “You have worked so hard for everything you have got and you’re still working hard. You did all this you so be proud of yourself xx.”

Meanwhile, another said, sweetly: “I think the most humble people will always be in disbelief of the amazing things around them, the fact your grateful and sincere in all the lovely things around you makes you 100x better than somebody who boasts, you don’t need to change anything apart from just embrace it all.”

Adam, who is married to wife, Caroline, with whom he shares son, Teddy, nine and daughter, Elsie, five, has had a lot on his plate recently.

The actor recently opened about his debilitating health condition, which leaves him forced to inject himself every two weeks to keep his pain under control. Adam was diagnosed with autoimmune condition psoriatic arthritis in 2023, which leads to joint pain, swelling and stiffness.

Sharing a video showing him injecting himself with medication, the dad-of-two told his 1.2million Instagram followers: “Today is a very big day people, because today I’m going to try and attempt to do my injections on my own for the very first time.”

He explained how he lives with the condition, explaining to fans: “It is an autoimmune disease. Basically means my immune system is attacking my own body. It causes a s**t-load of pain.”
