A man will front court over murder charges, after he allegedly stabbed another man to death at a Gold Coast home.
The 54-year-old man is accused of stabbing a 34-year-old several times with a knife at a home on McCrae Court in Maudsland about 6.40pm on Monday.
The younger man suffered critical injuries and died at the residence.
The older man was charged with one count of murder (domestic violence offence), and was scheduled to appear before Southport Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
“The pair were known to each other and there is no ongoing threat to the public,” police said.
